It Takes A CommunityBon Wakabayashi

YES serves homeless youth – child and teens – in Pend Oreille County WA. We also work together with people in Bonner County ID who want to help their homeless youth. These children have left home for any number of reasons and are struggling to exist on their own. Many live on the streets. They are outside the scope of Child Protective Services (CPS) and since they are not offenders, they are outside the scope of the Juvenile Justice system. This article explains a little how these children and teens have fallen through the cracks of the child welfare system. Now the local community in Pend Oreille County and Bonner County are coming together to help these children and teens.

We need donations of food, clothing, boots and schools, school supplies, backpacks, and other things to distribute to the homeless teens in the area of Pend Oreille County and Bonner County.
