Myth: Homeless Youth using drugs/alcohol
Fact: Many parents/guardians are abusing drugs/alcohol, not the youth.

Myth: Homeless youth are juvenile delinquents/dangerous.
Fact: No offenders are served in Y.E.S. program /they are referred to other resources/agencies.

Myth: Homeless youth are dropouts.
Fact: All youth are enrolled in educational programs.

Myth: Youth from out of the area are being served by Y.E.S.
Fact: Youth are returned to their county/state of residency for services
